Florentine painter whose date of birth is unknown and he is believed to have died circa 1348/50. He was influenced by his master and teacher, GIOTTO di Bondone, whose other pupil,Taddeo Gaddi, was Maso's contemporary. The artist is known principally for the frescoes he completed for the chapel in Santa-Croce, Florence.
