Guido da Siena

Sienese painter active in Siena during the 13th century. Practically nothing is known of his life and his only certain (authenticated) work is a Madonna and Child in the Palazzo Pubblico in Siena. Despite obscurity surrounding his life he is regarded as one of the founders of the Siennese School.
