Belgian neoclassical painter.

After his studies in the Academy of Bruges , he moved to Paris to be trained under Joseph-Benoît Suvée, a Belgian painter settled in Paris who taught Ducq the neoclassical taste.

He finished second at the Prix de Rome of 1800.
