Born in Modena, Italy and died in Fontainebleau, France. One of the important masters of the School of Fontainebleau. Student with the sculptor Antonio Begarelli and mostly influenced by Dosso Dossi and Parmigianino. He also produced tapestries for important buildings and jewelery.
