Felix Joseph Barrias
(French, 1822-1907)
Pupil of Léon Cogniet; Rome prize in 1844. He has been the teacher of Degas. In France, his works can be seen at the Louvre (Cabinet des arts graphiques), at the musée d'Orsay (Paris), at the museums of Autun, Beauvais, Douai, Laval, Nantes, Rouen, and at l'école des Beaux-Arts (Paris).
