James MacCullogh
(English, 1850 - 1915)
James MacCullogh is the son of another famous landscape painter: Horatio MacCullogh. He studied at the Royal Scottish Academy and other schools. He lived in London, where he was exhibited since 1872. He became member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1884, and has been elected at the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolours in 1891. He worked also in the Yorkshire, Surrey, Sussex and Suffolk. His works can be seen at the Glasgow and Sydney museums.
