Renouard has been influenced by Manet and Degas, and in some way has influenced Van Gogh who admired his works. The 'Cabinet des arts graphiques' at the Louvre (Paris) has many drawings by this artist; many french museums own his works: musée national d'art moderne (Paris - Beaubourg), Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Tours, Orléans, Blois, Limoges, but they can be found also in museums all aver the world (Tokyo, Bruxelles...).
