Edgar Alwyn Payne
(American, 1882 - 1947)

Artist from Missouri who painted many scenes of the American west, including desert, mountain and canyon country.  He also painted scenes in Mexico, Canada and during his travels in Europe.  He spent time in Laguna, California, where some of his works are displayed at the Laguna Art Museum.
