Alessandro Allori

Florentine painter who was adopted by Agnolo di Cosimo (Bronzino) and became his pupil. From 1554 to 1560 he worked in Rome and came under the influence of Michelangelo. Allori was responsible for preparing the decorations for the master's funeral in 1564.
