Studied in the school of Princess Maria Tenisheva (1901), in the studio of O. Braz in St, Petersburg (1903-05) and at the Academic de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris (1905). Member of the World of Art from 1911, participant in exhibitions from 1910: Union of Russian Artists (1910), World of Art (1911-24), French Society of Cultural Workers (1931, 1933), International Exhibition in Pittsburgh (1925), exhibitions of Russian art in Toronto and Los Angeles (1925), Brussels (1928), Paris (1928, 1932) etc. One-woman exhibitions between 1927 and 1936 in Leningrad, Moscow, Paris, Antwerp and Brussels, Her works were shown at exhibitions of Soviet art in Tokyo, Aomori, Osaka and Nagoya (1926-27).
