Berthe Morisot (1841 - 1895): French Impressionist Painter. Studied with many gifted painters, including Corot. Was close friends with and worked closely with her brother-in-law Edouard Manet. Her paintings were entered in all but one of the Impressionist exhibits from 1874 to 1885.
