Look at the back of one of the new $20 bills, the one that shows the north side of the White House. Look at The Window in the upper center. That's where Lincoln stood one day in early April of 1965. In that speech he advocated giving the vote to blacks and in the audience was John Wilkes Booth. Now look 3 windows over to your right. That's where Lincoln's body was enbalmed. |
