Born in Modena, Italy on between 1509 and 1512, died in Fontainebleau, France in 1571. One of the important masters of the School of Fontainebleau. Student with the sculptor Antonio Begarelli and mostly influenced by Dosso Dossi, Parmigianino and Correggio. He also produced tapestries for important buildings and designed jewelery.
