Guillaume Urbain Regamey
(French, 1837-1875)
Son of Louis Pierre Guillaume Regamey and elder brother of Félix Elie Regamey and Frédéric Régamey, all of them artists. Pupil of his father and of Horace Lecoq de Bois-Baudran. He has been exhibited at the Salon (Paris) from 1859 to 1875 and got a medal in 1868. He has worked for the Illustrated London News, drawing scenes of the 1870 war.
