Garstin Cox
(English, 1892 - 1933)
Garstin Cox was a painter from Cornwall, son of William Cox (also painter). He studied at the Art School pf Combourne, Newlyn and St Ives, mainly under J. Noble Barlow. He was exhibited at the Royal Academy at the age of 19, then at the Royal West of England Academy, and the Walker Gallery in Liverpool. I has been elected ARWA in 1925, and became member of the Newlyn Society of Artits. He lived in Cambourne until his death in 1933.
