Signed, titled and dated. It shows the "place de la République" at the french city Formerie, with the statue of the Captain Dornat (a local heroe of the 1870 war) and the "halle au beurre" (market); this place can be seen on photos prior to the 2nd world war (it was destroyed during the 2nd world war).
