WETHERILL, Elisha Kent Kane (1874-1929) E. K. K. Wetherill studied at the Pennsylvania Academy with Thomas Anshutz. In Paris, he studied with Whistler, and at the Academie Julian with J. P. Laurens. Wetherill was an associate of the National Academy, the Salmagundi Club, and the Brooklyn Society of Etchers.
