A Homage to Velazquez

Giordano who depicts himself as the figure in the lower right, appears to ither point out the scene in the upper part of the picture or to indicate that he was the artist. It is thought that this is a portrait sketch of the Count of Santisteban, who was the Viceroy of Naples between 1687 and 1695.
