Basket of Carnations and Zinnias by Vincent van Gogh
I do not believe that this work is by Van Gogh as it does not fit stylistically with his paintings of that period, or any period for that matter.

This same image appears under Theodore Clement Steele as November Morning 1904, and also in his listing for one other painting. Is it by Rose or Steele? Certainly not both.

I am doing research on "schools in art (painting) and for this, I gather images from different sources. When deciding what can be published, I will contact with museums or art galleries to obtain high resolution copies. Also, I try to get permission where necessary. Thank you very much for your input. Retrato de su Hija by Julio Vila Prades
Hello. This image was taken from a digital journal where I published a note about the painter (so it is protected by law). I am the owner of the image and of the painting (as well as the Self Portrait presented in this web). These two paintings belong to a private collection of my own, they have never beeing exposed. If it is possible to know from where was the image taken it will be very useful. Thank you very much.

I would like to use the photo in a scholarly publication. I understand that the artwork is in public domain, but still need to acquire permission for the photograph from whoever owns the copyright. Is it possible to get permission and a high resolution copy from the owner of the photograph?

Paysage à Sanary by Moise Kisling
I don't have copyright concerns but have information about this painting. My father bought it directly from the artist, his friend, in 1937, and kept it until 1982, when he sold it at an auction house in Versailles. I heard about it around 2010, when Christie's contacted me to clear up the provenance. They sold it again and I don't know who owns it now.
